EBE

The spiritualization of the image of the river in our Yakut culture is natural. We address her with reverence and respect, "ebe," which translates as grandmother. The repetitive movements of the stitches on the fabric became a communication with the river of my childhood, reminding her of the power of natural elements and the cyclical nature of life.
