THE WOMB PROJECT

I captured the construction of Alexander Brodsky's “The Rotunda”, a small, oval-shaped building in a field, where architectural festival Arch-Stoyanie is held. Chimney has become my umbilical cord, connecting us to the womb. Babies begin their adventure literally from the womb. The tight, soft space made of fabric unconsciously reminded children of that cozy place where their life was born and give children a sense of protection from the outside environment, but at the same time force them out into
a space full of adventure.
